Turn your work chat into your own knowledge base by using AI-powered search to find specific information, summarize long conversations, or locate shared files within any chat.
Search Capabilities
You can use the search tool to find a wide variety of information across different formats of texting and sharing information.
Messages and Text Search:
Exact text matches, including those with spelling errors, or small typos.
Transcriptions of voice messages.
To-dos updates.
Polls’ titles and options.
Contact names and phone numbers.
Media and Files Search:
Filenames and the internal content of PDF, Word, and Excel files.
Visual descriptions of recurring photos and videos (e.g., searching "building" to find relevant imagery).
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to find text contained within images, such as a "VAT" number on an invoice.
The original search queries used to find GIFs (iOS and Android).
Analytics Search:
You can search general metadata on the chat. For example:
Information regarding chat participants, such as the number of participants or the most active member.
Message statistics, including total message counts or frequency of specific phrases.
Activity tracking, such as finding the last message sent by a specific user or messages sent within a specific timeframe.
Subject Search: You can search which subjects were discussed in a chat by time and specific users.
On Mobile (iOS & Android)
Open any chat.
Tap the "Search" icon in the top-right corner.
Type your question into the search bar.
Tap the "Send" button to generate your results.
Note:
You can copy the AI answer.
You can provide feedback on the answer using the thumbs up or down icons.
You can tap "Switch to regular search" to use standard keyword matching.
On Desktop (Windows, macOS, & Web App)
Open any chat.
Click the "Search" icon in the top-right corner.
Enter your query in the search field that will appear to the right.
Click the "Search" button to view your results.
Note:
You can copy the AI answer.
You can provide feedback on the answer using the thumbs up or down icons.
You can tap "Switch to regular search" to use standard keyword matching.
